Trespa Nemho

A completely new take on ventilated facades. A technical tour de force. We are particularly proud of the Nehmo project, where we at Limeparts-Drooghmans realised the wishes of the architect and client. Erik van Eck of Trespa stresses, ‘As Nehmo is the epitome of our expertise, we had to be 150% sure of the final result.’ Sven Drooghmans of Limeparts-Drooghmans, came up with the proposal to build a 1-to-1 mock-up, which proved convincing. Sven explains, ‘Our company has been in existence for 50 years and we specialise in ventilated facades. We have been working with Trespa for 30 years. Nehmo's facade was a challenge, but I believe anything is possible. Our mock-up was a turning point and from then on things went smoothly.’ We developed a bespoke solution for fixing the Trespa® Meteon® panels, each numbered to accurately reproduce the design. The frame is based on horizontal aluminium profiles with special hooks and adjustable screws. This innovative approach ensured an invisible fixing, entirely according to the architect's wishes. ‘In the end, it was well worth the effort,’ The finished façade is beautiful and a testament to the innovation.
