Reepbrug

Reep Bridge in Kortrijk Spanning the River Leie in the heart of Kortrijk, the city has constructed a brand-new pedestrian and cyclist bridge: the Reep Bridge! Measuring 60 meters long and seven meters high, the bridge allows modern inland vessels to pass underneath smoothly. Both sides of the "golden" bridge are equipped with stairs and a bike lift, for which Limeparts-Drooghmans was commissioned to design the façade cladding. Specially crafted shapes were used, combining transparency with sun-shading functionality.
