Nedlin laundry
Driving along the A2 in South Limburg, near Elsloo, a striking architectural building rises above the otherwise unremarkable industrial complexes typical of many business parks. This impressive building houses one of the most advanced industrial laundries in Europe: Nedlin. The building is 144 meters long and 75 meters wide. The architect paid great attention to the façade, where varying tile strip widths, color distribution, and the design of the tile attachment to the exterior were key elements. The planning committee even likened the building to a cathedral, due to its monumental presence. The ceramic façade cladding was a perfect choice, contributing to the achievement of the highest rating, Outstanding, in the BREEAM sustainability score.
